Biomass at Ffarm Moelyci
Capturing different local resources’ – “Using the natural wealth of ‘Biomass’ to sustainably support local communities, the environment and the home”
This talk looks at traditional and new methods of converting and adding value to different types of vegetation, not normally considered as ‘crops’ or ‘fodder’. How to plan their use in a way that protects and supports biodiversity, how to employ processes that can turn them into new materials, storable forms of clean energy, and important products for improving soil health, nutrition and local food production. How a strategy involving the use of these techniques and ideas can help people and communities to become more resilient, healthier and better able to support themselves and each other.
