Vegboxes are ready from 1pm on the day of collection. Our produce comes in fresh on the day of delivery so we need time to select and prepare for you.
How do you fancy someone else taking the hassle out of doing the weekly vegetable shop for you? How about seasonal, fresh, organically-grown, and local handpicked vegetables? Then why not join our veg box scheme?
A typical box will contain 8-10 different varieties of veg, from roots to salads. We hand pick from several local farms, either from our own farm and Market Garden or from the surrounding area and we also supplement with out of season produce from local suppliers. No matter what, we always support local. They contain produce which is suited for the season so there will always be something different. We also like to give people choice so that the box can be tailored just for you. If you don’t like parsnips, there will be no parsnips!
We currently supply a VegBox at £10 which will suit 1-2 people for the weekly veg shop or a larger £20 box for a family. When you pick up your box, it can be supplemented with our range of fresh bread, local free range eggs, local jams and chutneys and a range of further reaching products we source from local suppliers.
Veg Boxes are currently available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and can be picked up from our shop after 1pm on the day of collection till closing time. We ask that people pay one week in advance and we’re also happy if you want them fortnightly or have special orders. Some people like to order gluten free breads or cakes.
