Woodlands and Conservation Group


Every Wednesday over Autumn we will  meet at 10am at the greenwood workshop in the farmyard to do a workday activities ranging from path clearance to tree surveying. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing, all tools supplied. If you miss us in the morning there will be a map in the workshop of where we are for the day.


On Sunday all year round, we are mostly adding value to materials using green woodworking methods. Come and help make a gate for Ffarm Moelyci or get instruction for your own project.

Located at the greenwoodworking workshop in the farm yard, just up the road from the shop. anytime between 10am and 3pm.

Free for members of the group or £5 per session suggested donation.


Lewis came and helped out for the week at Ffarm Moelyci, sampling all the departments. Here he is clearing shrubs from the old Moelyci archeological gateway site.

The bird hide that was built by Mike Bithall and volunteers without funding, was lost to freak winds end of 2015.
