Local Grower set for a blooming marvellous British Flowers Week!
British Flowers Week – the national campaign to encourage everyone to buy more seasonal, locally-grown cut flowers – is taking place on 15-19 June, and local grower Coryn Bye in Ffarm Moelyci Shop will be celebrating in style.
Ffarm Moelyci will be celebrating with fresh cut flowers from our own Market Garden, by Coryn. Veg Box'ers will find a small surprise posey in their box, to mark the end of the week.
About British Flowers Week
British Flowers Week is the week-long celebration of British-grown cut flowers and foliage that aims to bring British flowers back into British homes. The brainchild of the team at New Covent Garden Flower Market, where British flowers have been traded for centuries, British Flowers Week runs from 15-19 June 2015 and unites growers, florists and wholesalers across the country.
www.britishflowersweek.com gives a full run-down of what’s on, information about seasonal British cut flowers, stunning images of flowers and specially commissioned floral designs by leading florists as well as details of where to buy the exclusive British Flowers Week bouquets. And join the conversation on social media too with the hashtag #BritishFlowersWeek. ... See MoreSee Less
