Square Foot Gardening?

You’d be amazed at what you can fit into a small square foot garden.  Learn about this popular new way of growing in square foot blocks, with minimal maintenance and high rewards.


£20 per session

Please bring suitable clothing to work outdoors, refreshments are provided.   These are individual sessions, please book each one you want to attend.

All about Compost and Liquid Feeds

Come along and learn the best methods of compost making.  Learn how we make liquid feeds on the farm and how best to feed your seasonal vegetable plants.

September 9th:  Autumn and Winter Planting £20

Autumn and Winter; Sowing and Growing

Be guided through what autumn seeds to sow to supply you with delicious organic home grown vegetables.  Throughout autumn and winter, right into spring learn how to fill the hungry gap.

September 16th:  Herbs and Edible Flowers £20

Herbs and Edible Flowers; Growing

Come along and learn about the herbs and edible flowers you can grow in your own garden.  The course will feature a guided tour of Blodeuwedd Herbs and Flowers, growing at Ffarm Moelyci

Coryn Bye

Coryn is a trained teacher and certified horticulturalist.

She has over 10 year experience working with a variety of community groups teaching them the horticultural skills to help them successfully  grow their own vegetables and herbs.  Coryn has a multidisciplinary approach and can appeal to wide audiences, working closely with young, old and every on in between at a variety of different skill levels.   Additionally, Coryn has spent 13 years developing horticultural project for organisations, including Tyddyn Môn, Gwynedd and Môn Youth Justice, Coleg Menai and now at Ffarm Moelyci.
